In a bizarre partnership that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "An unusual meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of forbidden practices and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret cult.

The mission centers on "strange tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Extra Content

Players who finish the quest will obtain an unique katana alongside numerous objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
