Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
